Memorial Day, May 27, 2013
The VFW and the 28th Massachusetts Color Guard (Civil War unit) held their morning ceremony at the Soldiers' Monument prior to the Memorial Day parade. For the first time, members of the Soldiers' Monument Commission marched in the parade then held their traditional 2-4 p.m. opening. (Hint: Click on photos to enlarge.)
