This year's cemetery walk will again take place in the "Old Burying Grounds" across from the Winsted Town Green. We have barely touched the surface of those famous, infamous and everyday residents of Winsted.
From the Revolution to World War II we have soldiers. We also have politicians and statesmen-one featured in a very
popular film! Men and women from all walks of life are again waiting to greet you on Saturday, October 24th at 1 p.m. till 4 p.m.
The tour will be $5.00 per adult- 16 and over. Children are free. Come and find out what a wonderful, historic community you live in and see why Winsted is one of the most historical places in Connecticut!
Funds raised go to fulfill the mission of the Soldiers' Monument Commission: to maintain the monument and to educate the public to its significance.
